SWANA Young Professionals (YPs)
SWANA defines a “young professional” (YP) as an individual in the resource management industry who is 35 years old or younger. This includes all who work within the solid waste industry from operations staff, to office workers, public or private sectors, disposal, or marketing etc​
YPs provide learning, networking, and leadership opportunities by creating active roles in SWANA . Their aim is to develop a pool of well-rounded leaders for the future of the solid waste industry while helping elevate ideas and initiatives.
